Even before de-carbonisation had become as imperative as it is today, the Company had begun its journey in harnessing green power as early as 1992-93 which has become a critical part of the organisation now. What began as 4 MW, has now reached a capacity of 166 MW, including our subsidiary.  

 
The investment in renewable energy sources, demonstrates the Company’s commitment for protecting environment, besides reducing the power cost. The generation of electrical energy from wind farms ensures isolation of the company from ever increasing oil and coal prices, impacting the power cost.
